In Texas completing 14 hours of in-car behind-the-wheel driver education is mandatory for all Texas Teens under the age of 18. Our Texas Parent-Taught In-Car Behind-the-Wheel Only Teen Driver Education Course is designed for the Texas Teen, ages 15 to 18 years old, to complete the 14 hours of behind-the-wheel driving observation and practice lessons, and earn their Texas Provisional Driver License quickly and easily. A teen’s parent or guardian is their Texas-approved driving instructor. The parent registers with The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to become a parent-taught instructor and uses Online Driving Professor’s detailed lesson guides, instructions, and driving assessments to safely and easily teach their teen to drive.
A student can register for this course if they have earned their Texas Learner License and have finished, or are currently enrolled in, the 32 hours of Texas Driver Education Classroom with another driving school, their high school, or an online driver education provider.
